VBMcgi stands for "The Villas-Boas and Martins library for cgi programming". Now this library is being maintained by Villas-Boas only. (VB stands for "Villas-Boas", not "Visual Basic"). Villas-Boas is also known as sbVB.

 

Summary of versions:

September 20th 2007, version 4.0 - VBMcgi now part of VBLib plus; fixed bug that produced deadlock if invalid query string; now token for html parameter can be selected.
March 14th 2004, version 3.0 - Many bug fixes, this is a very stable version; html parameters introduced.
January 14th 2002, version 2.0 - Bug fixes: global variable controls html header to prevent incorrect multiple header to output.
November 2000, version 1.0 - the first full featured version
